Below is the results of the February 2010 Election for the Greenville City School District.
It is about the same as the May Election.
The May Election Results tell the tale of the Greenville City Schools if you look at the results by precinct. There are 25 precincts voting on Greenville City School issues. Of those, 12 are in the City of Greenville, and it passed in 5 of those in the May election. Four are in Greenville Twp and it passed in 1 of those precincts. In Adams Twp., there are two precincts and it failed in both. In Liberty Twp, there were 4 votes all against in the one precinct there. In Wayne Lakes, Richland, Van Buren and Washington Townships, all with one precinct, it failed. It passed in Wayne and Neave. So out of the 25 precincts voting it passed in 8 and failed in 17. The results are below.
These figures are much better than the May election but unfortunately still a looser. Actually when you look at it it's half and half with one tie. Unfortunately some of the wins were real great and some of the losing precincts were real great. One wonders what a remote BOE meeting might have done in Wayne Lakes, Gettysburg or Washington Twp. to help this situation.
